# Camera Angles and Viewpoints

Camera angle describes where the viewer is placed relative to the subject. Specify **height**, **pitch**, **side**, and **distance** only when each choice matters. A useful compact formula is:

- Prefer one precise angle over stacked synonyms such as `aerial overhead bird's-eye top-down`.

- If geometry matters, add horizon and projection: `level horizon, two-point perspective, vertical lines straight`.
- For POV images, mention visible body parts and action; otherwise the model may produce an external view.
- Use angle terms to control viewpoint, not lighting, mood, focus, or focal length; specify those separately.
